If you have any of the following conditions, you are not a candidate for this specific physical and chemical exfoliation series at this time: Active Acne Medications: You must be completely off Accutane (Isotretinoin) for a minimum of 6 to 12 months before receiving microdermabrasion or chemical peels. Topical Active Ingredients: You must discontinue all use of Retin-A, Retinol, Tretinoin, Tazorac, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or high-potency Vitamin C products 3 to 5 days prior to each appointment. Skin Barrier Damage: Treatments cannot be performed overactive Arizona sunburns, open wounds, bleeding lesions, active weeping acne cysts, eczema breakouts, or active facial rashes. Recent Cosmetic Procedures: You must wait at least 2 full weeks after receiving Botox, Dysport, or Dermal Fillers. If you have had recent laser resurfacing or deep chemical peels, you must wait 4 to 6 weeks (and have full clearance from your provider). Viral Infections: Clients with active cold sores (Herpes Simplex) cannot be treated. If you are prone to breakouts, please take a prescribed antiviral medication 2 days prior to your session. Pregnancy / Nursing: Because this series utilizes clinical glycolic acid in the Signature Facelift step, it is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers unless explicitly cleared by your OBGYN.
